Brad is the Founder and Lead Pastor at CalChurch. Prior to California Community Church, he served some of the fastest growing and largest congregations in the United States. As a writer, leader, and teacher, Brad draws on not only his scholastic background (both a Masters and Doctorate) but on humor and real-life experiences.
Brad has literally been at rock bottom. He knows first-hand the grace, love and restorative power of Jesus. His core message is that “everyone can have a fresh start with God through Christ!”
Brad is married to Karen and the joys of their lives are their children and six grandchildren.

Hector is the Associate Pastor at CalChurch. He is a passionate communicator of the gospel with over a decade of ministry experience. As a Pastor’s Kid, he grew up immersed in the church, serving in nearly every role imaginable. From chair stacker to pastor, Hector has developed a heart for people and a deep understanding of church ministry. Hector’s journey has taken him to serve at several mega churches, where he has had the privilege of preaching to large congregations. He has also gained invaluable insights and mentorship from a globally recognized church, shaping his leadership and communication style. Currently pursuing his Master’s in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary, Hector is committed to growing in his faith and equipping others to do the same. Known for his humor and relatability, he delivers messages that make the teachings of Jesus accessible and relevant to everyday life. His engaging approach inspires and encourages believers to deepen their faith and connect with the transformative power of the gospel.
